The Flow of Information

Nathan Suh

This article was quite interesting.  One of the highlights for me was the importance of technology.  Korean American (youths) are only able to absorb and propagate the Korean culture because of how easily media is consumed.  Highly popular Korean dramas seem to be a way a bridging the culture between asian americans and koreans/the "homeland".  Personally, it's also easy to see influence from music with the rise of kpop.  Gangam style was a huge hit several years back.  To a sheltered American, that must be quite weird.  The appreciation of Korean culture among asian american youths seems to be similar to the appreciation of Japanese culture in the past couple decades.  My question is whether the korean influence will continue, or perhaps make way for a different asian culture?
