Globalization and Its Effect on Asian American Youth

I found it very interesting how the Korean culture has adapted many parts of the American culture, especially in their media and performers. They basically adopted the Motown procedure of building groups, writing catchy music and conveyor belting the process of artists. It doesn't always translate to American culture, but I consider it a valiant effort when groups like Girls Generation or Wonder Girls try to come to the United States and integrate their music any way they can. Because of the amount of 1.5 and 2nd generations that come to America, their love for Kpop and Korean culture comes with them and an awareness for other Americans for Kpop ensues.

My question: Will there ever be a group that can reach the top charts in America? Will it be a group or will it be a single artist like Psy?
