Reflection of “Transnational Flows of Popular Culture”

The culture in metropolitan cities in U.S. such as Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York cities has combined various elements across the world. Immigrants from other countries are favor to develop their new lives and careers in these cities because of the convenience of information transmission. In the article, Park has introduced how Korean American youths get in contact with Korean cultures and how they dissolve those Korean cultures with American cultures during their growth. As we know, American culture has a great influence on globalization. In the meantime, it absorbs fresh goods and thinking from all over the world. The trend between American culture and Korean culture also signifies the ongoing future of the world. In my perspective, there isn’t a single hegemony on the stage of globalization.  All involving cultures that pay efforts to make the world better are equaled important and valuable. My question is how deep this globalization is going to be?
