I was really
toughing after reading Andrew Thi’s article. I learned his half-life experience
as an immigrated person in United States. He was in honor roll and got high
grade at school but he started to steal stuffs at eight grades. I don't know
why people have to choose a wrong way even though they have a brighter way to
choose. But he got the punishment for his Ignorance. I can’t image how much he
and his family suffer in these years. But it was really lucky that they could
escape to a Thai refugee camp and the immigrated to the United States. It was
also really lucky that their family gained the public assistance in several
years. Although it was unlucky that he had hard time getting out off jail since
his identity, he got out of INS custody eventually, even though he had to sign
the deportation agreement. His identity, an Asian American, might somewhat make
his life tougher. But the US government –he said was God- somewhat gave him a
change to have a new life.
Question: so if one
sign the deportation agreement, does it mean he/she can never go back to
America?
