“I am a man with a heart”

I read “I am a man with a heart” and it was basically about a man named Andrew who emigrated from Cambodia to the United States. He settled in Hayward and was surrounded by both good and bad influences. In my opinion, I feel like many immigrants go through this problem of getting into trouble even if they are good individuals. I think the reason for this happening is that they have a hard time transitioning to the new lifestyle in the United States. They are still not completely aware of what is going on around them and what to do and what not to do. In situations like these, I feel like immigrants need guidance from someone who they hold in high authorities or someone who has been in the same situation as them, transitioning into living in the United States. It can be especially hard for youth moving from one place to another just because they are experiencing things they haven’t before and it takes them outside of their comfort zone. Then they look for new methods of coping, which may include bad behaviors that are not completely intentional.

What are other factors that contribute to immigrants performing bad actions?
