The reading referring to the two UC Campuses provided two interesting perspectives. Both campuses had students participating in the Occupy Student Movement but it was really interesting to find that UC Davis had responded in a completely different way than Berkeley did. I found UC Davis' outcome not satisfying at all and rather disappointing because of the lack of attention that was brought up about the issue. Berkeley handled the situation much better by actually responding to the students' needs and using MCap (Middle Class Access Plan) instead of UC Davis, who completely ignored the issue of what was being protested but instead just addressed the damages that were done.
Why would UC Davis ignore such an important issue?
