In the article, Soya Jung expresses her rage about the murder of Mike Brown by Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson happened in Missouri in August 2014. She believes that it is an outcome of white supremacy instead of an isolated incident. As an Asian American, she also have her “rage” in Korean culture. The rage comes from accumulated experiences of oppression, being controlled, occupied and threatened, and the rage must be expressed. The shooting recalls her rage which originally exists in her body. Asian Americans, a minority, tend to be invisible between two societies, black and white, due to both social bias and self-cognition. But they need to make some changes. For instance, in this shooting incident, they need to make correct decisions and be either left or right of the color line or they are likely to be marginalized as time goes on. Silence and lack of empathy towards the issues of African American will lead to negative consequences to Asian Americans in the future as well.

Question: How can Asian Americans find their position in the issues like the shooting of Mike Brown?
