There is a ridiculous amount of murders with fire arms as the method of killing (seen in The Empire of Murder). You would think with decades of mass shootings, there would be better gun control in the United States. There is a desensitization to killings that it has became the norm. In a lot of cases, the history and mental health of the perpetrator leads to dozens of deaths that could have been avoided. There is a lack of emphasis on mental health within this community (the United States). Invisible illnesses are taken care of, unlike physical illnesses. Invisible illnesses are not taken seriously enough and that is a serious problem. There needs to be research of how traumatic experiences (shell-shock, postpartum depression, etc.) affect individuals over a long period of time and how that affects the ned generation.

Question: Just because you can't see that something is wrong, why is that problem taken less seriously?
