Volkswagen's New Car Is Not Allowed In the America Because It's Too Efficient Blog 3

Volkswagen has recently released a new concept car Volkswagen XL1 in 2013, which can hit 300 mpg under ideating driving conditions and the combined mileage is over 200 mpg as well. It is really surprising to know our technology has developed to another milestone and complete a mission which a lot of us think it is impossible to achieve nowadays, but it was really shocking for me to hear the car will not be selling in the United States because of its gas efficiency. The U.S. claimed that too efficient for the american public to be widely aware of, and the oil profit is too high in the U.S. to risk it. This really makes me think of what matters more, global warming or government's own profit? Oil is running day after day, but the government does not seem to worry about finding the best solution to possibly save using oil in any way. Instead, now they want us to use more oil in order for them to make the profit. I found it really hard to understand what exactly is the right thing to do for us to save our plant, because of how government really is not to trustworthy nowadays.

Question: What matters more, environment or profit?
