Response 4: The Impact of the Wen Ho Lee Case On Asian Americans

It was surprising to see racial profiling happening within the professional world. Wen Ho Lee was accused of being a spy just because he was Chinese. However, many reports that accused the Chinese of being spies grouped residential Chinese along with travelers and mismatched a lot of other facts. When writing a serious report that reflects upon the lives of a large group of people, the government should put in the time and effort to write a serious and accurate report. It is appalling to see unreliable and dishonest reports being used for governmental purposes. This reminds me of my elementary school days when children would outcast someone for being different. The US government is no different than a child, and it is unfortunate that we have immature and immoral people running our government. What is the worse that racial profiling has done to a group of people or person?
