Race Still Matters

Race Still Matters

The first thing I noticed about the rate of adults that didn't graduate was that there was a high percentage of the adult Asian population that don't have a high school diploma. I noticed that from the chart the higher percentage came from areas of Asia that aren't as financially stable as other places. Maybe the reason why there's a higher percentage of adults that don't have a high school diploma is due to immigration. Adults past the high school age that move to America don't have a chance to go to school, and there's a small chance of them going to a community college since a majority of them don't know English or they have financial problems to worry about. I think these inequalities come mostly from economic problems. For example, a poorer area would have children that don't do well in school, regardless of race.

Since there's a link between low income areas and poorer education, what is a good way to solve the issue?
