Week 8

At the beginning of the article "What Asian Americans are Bringing to Campus Movements for Racial Justice”, a lot of students were fighting in a battle for their rights in America, but Asian Americans couldn’t  fit properly in the mainstream and were even boycotted by them. Continue to read, Asian Americans were even be doubted whether they are people of color or not, they are doubted whether they should be part of the mainstream to fight against racism, they are doubted whether they are struggling or not. In the article, a lot of events focused on black and white people, the place of Asian Americans is still ambiguous in all the races. However, the situation seems to change. Student organizers in different universities are going to including Asian Americans in the battle of racial justice. Coming back to the article, what can Asian Americans bring to the battle of racial justice? They can not only protect the rights of themselves, they also speak up for other people of color. All races should be treated equally, and there shouldn’t be discrimination within the group of people of color who are in the fight against racists. They are a really important fight against racists and shouldn’t be ignored.

Question:
How could Asian Americans this big group better fit into the mainstream of fighting against racial justice and prove that Asian life matters?
