Chen Liang A02 Week 9

This week, I read “Academic Symbiosis”, which is wrote by Wei Ming Dariotis. The whole story is about the author sharing her point of view on the academic symbiosis which relates to the tenure and funds.
In this reading, Dariotis provided us a lot of evidence and an idea that the current system of the academic hierarchy can be restructured under a thoughtful implementation of academic symbiosis. In nowadays, the situation is not as good as what the author wishes to like. The academic competition is not healthy in the current companies and schools. Due to the many reasons such as the difference of the race, and the difference of the working position, many power would influence the thought of the individual. As the author suggested, in order to build a better environment and make the academic symbiosis successfully, people must not become victims of the system but need to build an alliance. It is hard in nowadays sources.
Before, when I was in China. The competition in the learning system is extremely intense. Students would work hard like a study machine starting from the first day in school until graduation. In order to go to a better school, most children do not have any time to play. Due to the unbalanced source allocation, students would exam different experiences in academic growth. However, people are always different from others, and there are no same people in the world. In order to create the ideal academic symbiosis, it still a long way to go or may even unpractical with nowadays idea. So my question is, where should we start?
