Reading the book Fight the Tower up to now, I have seen the experience of Asian Americans in different academic institutions. Most of them are discriminated against, not treated equally, and punished after speaking out. Also, some of them are not been understood at all. After reading Academic Symbiosis: A Manifesto on Tenure and Promotion in Asian American Studies today, I found a beautiful idea of the author, which aroused my thinking. In this article, the author refers to academia to Star Wars, and compares the academic community to the world in Star Wars, imagining a beautiful and pure land.

In my opinion, discrimination and unfairness in academia should not exist. Because learning is a very sacred and great thing. When people working in the field which bothered by things that differ from academic pursuits, then they can't concentrate on education. There is no doubt that too much distraction and work pressure will make the scholars depressed and lose their enthusiasm for work. In the previous articles, many Asian scholars wasted a lot of time because of some unfair experiences, which can be used to invest in education. So in this article, the author's idea is very beneficial to society, especially for the school where it aims to educate students. Teachers do not need to bring a lot of profits to the school, but the students they cultivated can bring long-term profits to society. Therefore, the educational community should not only care about the immediate interests, so as to exploit Asian scholars. This idea shows that if there is no gender discrimination and racial discrimination in the academic community, all scholars will strive for the goal of higher academic achievements, then the academic community will be very beautiful and progress. Although it's a beautiful idea, I understand that not all scholars pursue academic studies. Many scholars consider that the salary is too low. Some educational institutions hope to make money through corruption, and then they will make money by exploiting some ethnic and gender scholars. I certainly hope that the author's idea can succeed, and I am willing to work with her to achieve this goal.

Question: how to achieve the goal of the author of this writing?
