Week 1
   The Coronavirus has come quietly and is rampant, and people have no resistance at present. Because of it, people dare not even go out of the door. The Coronavirus has really taught us a lesson, without reservation. Although the intermediate host of the virus hasn’t founded, most people still believe that wild animals (bats, etc.). This time it’s really a bloody lesson. However, it is only those who can afford to eat wild animals that cause the plague. Maybe the earth just wants to tell people to live in peace. Human beings are not masters. People should protect the earth, love the earth and live in harmony. Besides, I think human beings are very small. An earthquake can destroy the whole city; a tsunami can cause huge damage; a virus can take countless lives. This is the case with the Coronavirus. The virus can’t be seen by the naked eye or touched by both hands, but once it appears, it will cause great damage. Therefore, people must be in awe of nature and law. Only with awe can we know what to do and what not to do, keep a modest and prudent attitude, and better protect ourselves.

In terms of my expectations for the course, I want to fully understand the history before the post-World War II, and also has the ability to analyze the related issues of Asian American critics.
