Frank Sang, A04, week4

From the reading "Investigating Discrimination: Injustice against Women of Color in the Academy", it states that women of color indeed face more challenges in academic career compared with the white people, and it is not something common and usual in the world.

There might be a lot of reasons to explain why women of color are being treated in this way, but the final and essential concept of this condition is definitely discrimination, and I believe that this discrimination is not acceptable under any circumstance. Thus, like what Wang Ping states in her poem, "Who Killed Soek-Fang Sim", silence on this should not be an option anymore. People should raise their voices to fight against any discrimination based on color or other natural elements. Women, especially currently being discriminated, should be encouraged to speak out the feeling and asking for more people to be brave, and the rest should unite and help eliminate discrimination. In my opinion, poems like this should be written more and more since the minority does need help in any kind of way, and if we have the power, helping them also means to help ourselves.

My question: what is the proper way to fight against injustice for the minority?
