After reading the beginning of this article “Fight the Tower”, I feel that there are many unfair and injustice facts toward Asian American women in life and especially in academy area. Asian American women are not allowed to take class with white people in many years ago, and they can learn much less knowledge than white people. Now, only few of Asian American women can take important position at academic careers like professor comparted with white people. Many white people look down upon people with colored skin, and think they are not qualified to take have those job. Even, when Asian American women can have the same work as white people, they are only paid 90 percent of every dollar paid to white people, according to “Fact Sheet, 2020”. Those facts tell me that this is a critical social issue about Asian American women. As a Chinese student, I can understand a little about those Asian American women’s feeling. Once, when I get good grades in exams, my TA think that I cheated. He had no evidence, and he didn’t talk with SJA, but he deduced my points, because he just considered that “Chinese cannot learn well.” In US, there must be many Asian American women, who are suffering from unfair and injustice treat. Some of them shout out and fight against this, but many of them didn’t. They deserve fair treat, and people in the society should help them.
