The Coronavirus has been a widespread pandemic that seemed to put a pause in many events throughout the world. At first, I never thought much about it due to other illnesses such as the Flu or Pneumonia. Now, I do have some mixed feelings about what is going on in the world due to this pandemic. I find it appalling that people are panic buying water, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. I heard from a friend that people were buying baby wipes since stores were sold out of purell. She has infants who need baby wipes for sanitation and all that is left in the store is lysol wipes or other wipes she can’t use for her babies. Even though a lot of businesses and stores have limited their hours, I still find it interesting that people don’t practice social distancing and “sheltering in place.” It’s as if people don’t care much, yet they don’t know if they could be the one spreading the pandemic. What other ways can we practice social distancing? I understand that some hate staying at home and need to be active, but as of right now, society needs to remain in place so we can fix the pandemic.
This is just a meme that a friend showed me, hopefully it helps ease up any anxieties that anyone has during this time. Remember to keep washing your hands and to refrain from touching your face!
