Cheng Zeng, ASA 002 A02, Week 2

After watching the vlog of Doctor Bai -- an Asian American doctor in NYC, I feel extremely touched by his responsibility not only as a doctor but also as a father of 17-month child. He has to go to start working in easy-infected environment before 7 a.m. because over 60 patients were waiting since last night. His family are forced to quarantine from him because he might get the corona virus at any time. It is sad to watch Dr. Bai’s video, seeing him as one of the thousands of doctors who is still working at the front-line to saving people. Luckily, I hear him talking about there are doctors from different areas coming to NYC to help them get rid of the disaster. Same situation happened early in Wuhan China where dozens of doctors had to stay away with their families and work restlessly to save patients. Luckily, many doctors and resources coming from different parts of China helped Wuhan to get through of its difficulty.

Here is a graph showing where those help hands are entering Wuhan every day. Based on the data, there was over 40 thousand medical agents going to Wuhan since January. No matter it is in Wuhan or New York City, no matter it is in China or the United States, if people are helping each other and protecting their families and citizens, it is undeniable that we are all going to get through the crisis and embrace the rest of 2020.
