Section 2
In "Wi-fi in Schools," the author Cindy Russel goes over several great argument on why wi-fi is bad, Russel first talks about how the FCC only conducts tests on the heat produced by the wi-fi routers, not the actual waves. Studies conducted by outside groups show that routers actually have negative biological effect as they can impair the magnetic compass birds use to navigate during the season and stunt plant growth. One other thing Russel discusses are the effects wi-fi can have on students and adults who are exposed to it every day. I can cause anxiety, stress, sleep disorders, and several other harmful effects. I find it very strange that an important group such as the FCC would not do the correct testing to show the negative wi-fi can have. We all could be in danger as slowing over time, Cindy Russel said wi-fi can also break bonds in our DNA. This is an issue that not only effects us, but also our future generation. For my image, it depicts a sleeping child and all the common technology we have that used wi-fi that could be harming him right now. But the FCC will not tell us if it was or not.
Q: What is the reason the FCC does not conduct research on the biological effects wi-fi can cause?
