Review for group 2G
The video started off very interestingly. It’s good at
catching the audience’s attention with the clips of different sports. It
transitions well when you guys introduce the topic about Badminton and it’s
depiction in the United States. You guys provide a lot of good exposition and
background information that can be easily used later on in the video. You guys
introduce another topic in the video very well also. Representation of Asians
in media brings up a very good topic that ties in well with the lack of
representation of badminton in American media as well. The lines read by two of
the group members is a great addition to the video and give great insight onto
the issue. This might not be changeable but the microphone quality of the
second speaker could be a bit better. The introduction and information of badminton is great, but it could use a bit more information about Asian representation in both badminton and elsewhere in America. I'm not sure whether the goal is to explain the lack of representation of badminton in US media or if it's to explain why there are so many Asians in an Asian dominated sport. But that's probably explained more in your finished product. Looking forward to it.
