This
video was actually very well done, and I was impressed by all the information
you were able to provide within three minutes. I thought you did pretty well
with the video, even if the images were still because it allows for the viewer
to pay more attention to the information being provided. Now with
all that being said, here are a few suggestions that I have. A little more information
on the examples you provided might be helpful to add. For example, your group
mentions how media coverage for protests isn’t there for Asian American protests,
and instead focuses on other protests. I think if you could provide an example
of a recent Asian American protest that didn’t get covered, then it could help
illustrate your point some more. Also in addition to mentioning the protests
that Asian Americans have participated in, maybe you could also talk about what
their issues were and what the outcomes of these protests were. I thought that
the volume was pretty good on this video, there isn’t a lot of interference,
which is great. The only other thing I could suggest is perhaps adding some
transition effects in between the images, so that it gives the video a little
more motion to grab the viewer’s attention. Good work talking about this issue, because more people need to be aware of the influence that Asian Americans have in protests.
