The articles that are about wifi in school and its effects on the most vulnerable people --- children sent important messages to the audiences. Which is that educaion institution or anyone who values their health should at least somehow reduce the time length of themselves exposing to wireless network, because we are living in an era that more and more advanced technologies are available to everyone and so will these high technologies impose threat to our health.
For example, in this article, Is Wi-Fi in Schools Safe? by Brian Spero, he explains how EMF (electromagnetic fields) emits strong radiation on human from all dimensions and are on all the time. And the most vulnerable targeted group of people, kids and pregnant women have higher risk of getting disease related to the higher exposure to EMF. More importantly, our brains also have higher risks of getting infected by EMF relating diseases (Spero, 2015). I agree with Spero that EMF imposes a health threat to human body. I am certainly one of the victims who were infected by related EMF harms. Spending most of time on internet and looking at laptop screen that is connected via wireless internet, I was told that my eye sight problem is getting worse and was further advised to have myself put away any electronics and turn off unnecessary EMF radiated machines. This type of "media-detox" was slowly guiding me back to regain my health back, especially my eye-conditions. As Spero also mentioned, he encourages education institutions to have at least done some more awareness events to encourage people to avoid being exposed to EMF and everyone should at least do their parts better to take care of their health.
Is there any ways that we can limit the time spent on using wireless network, but at the same time maximize our efficiency while using it? For our cases, schools and households will be our targeted groups.
