                  In the article “Fight the Tower: A Call to Action for Women of Color in Academia”, professor Valverde use her own experiences to tell us the struggle of women of color in the academia because of “presumed incompetent”. Free Speech Movement is an example which students defend their own rights. Those protesters are only college students, just like us! Both of articles teach me a lesson: instead of avoiding, we should fight against inequality, discrimination and bias! We should not only think ourselves and feel lucky that those sad and outrageous stories did not happen on us, because they will finally happen if we do not take an action.

 My question is:
             How can students find a effective and legal way to protect their own rights?
