Week 4



I found the article "A Tale of Two Campuses: Berkeley and Davis respond to Occupy movements" to be very interesting. I remember when it was happening, I was still in high school and was very confused. I never looked into it more than what it was depicted on the news "rowdy college students, tents, pepper spray." It was nice to see the article display two different perspectives on the event and two different ways each university took to respond. It really disheartened me the way UC Davis handled this situation. How can our chancellor not take into all the considerations before determining what she wanted to proceed to do? Why were students not taken seriously oppose to being a threat?
