Response to Fighting Privatization

From the article, we have learned that the administrators and officers in the UC system in the back few years have many relationships with other private companies and commercials. The department of school require more funding for campus and facilities. But in fact, most of them have been invested in other business. Those invisible investments around campus won’t help students achieve higher academic goals and build their dreams. Students in UC system acknowledged those privatization and sponsored many anti-privatization activities. However, they were treated inhumane and the police even hurt their bodies which leave huge impact on their lives. My question is, as United States is a country support peace and free spirit, should we encourage students to express their feelings regarding corruption or should we hurt them with military pepper spray?
