Group 4_Section A02_ Final SAPSA Video_Bryan.J Magaline_Ziyu Wang_ Billy Wang

Our SAPSA is about the xenophobia against Asian American. Ever since the first Asian get off board to this land, or even a little before they get off board, the xenophobia has been influencing the destiny of all Asian Americans. In our SAPSA, we are trying to give a clear picture of what is is xenophobia, how it works, and how it is influencing the life of Asian Americans. As an unintentional mood rooted deeply in one’s mind, lot of people hardly even notice they are being influenced by xenophobia. Our intended audience are the general public who does not have much knowledge regarding xenophobia. And in the effort of making the SAPSA, we managed to find a number of researches pointing out how minority Americans are being mistreated due to xenophobia. And we put a lot of effort to make our SAPSA gentle and easy to accept.

However, there are indeed challenges we have encountered. Since there are limited research and social survey specifying Asian American, it has been difficult for us to get enough usable data. If there are more time we could use, we will conduct original survey and interview to make our resource more reliable. And for the future of our SAPSA, we expect to have have nation-wide data regarding how it is influencing policy relating to Asian Americans and what we can do to reduce or neutralize its influence.
