It seems white males tend to dominate not only administrative positions & government bodies, but mass murderer demographics as well! How lovely. Though correlation does not readily imply causation, the reason for this, at least socially, seems to be connected when the theme of white privilege is introduced. Hamamoto describes a possible source of white men’s resentment towards non-whites saying, “he feels entitled to a well-paying, meaningful job. Rudely awakened from the American dream, he resents that his birthright has been snatched from him, and he looks for someone to blame”. These feelings of disgruntlement can lead to dangerous consequences such as hate crimes and death. Intersectionality becomes an important factor because women serial killers typically have a different mode of murder than male serial killers and their motivations can vary across genders as well. Sadly, when it comes to gender, women can also serve as sexualized objects in the eyes of certain white males in an extremely toxic manifestation of “yellow fever”, or the erotic subjugation and fetishization of Asian women. The combination of white male serial killers and the subservient Asian female stereotype has treacherous outcomes that sends ripples of fear throughout the Asian-American women community. Additionally, immigrants are at special risk to this peril. Their lack of knowledge in America, due to their absence of experience living there, makes them a primary target for not only serial killers, but men with toxic, unhealthy sexual tendencies. The prevalent idea of Asian American women as compliant and submissive coupled with the reality of unaware recent immigrants fosters a truly unsafe environment within a nation with consequences varying from a "type" while dating to rape, murder, and torturous sexual exploitation. 

Question: Assuming the subservient Asian women stereotype lives innocently enough in many  males, does the reality of racially charged sex and hate crimes enough for it to be recognized as problem to be combat within the nation?
