Week 8: Kangping Chen - A01

After have read the reading material as well as listened the lectures in class from this week, I have found out the the mental health issues should get much more attention that the current situations. As the current situations, people are not get enough attention about the mental health issues. According to the reading materials, people in the richer countries are not really having better mental health conditions. Despite they are more wealthy are more capable to access better source to improve the health condition as well as their mental health condition. They situation of mental health is not able to let us to be optimistic.

Therefore, I suppose that the society should be more aware and treat this issues seriously in order to improve the situation. Also, all the facilities including academic, government, hospitals they all should treat mental health more seriously. They should regard the mental health issue as more general health issue insead of just mental health problems. This is to say is someone is having certain kinds of mental health issues, we should catagorize or regard it as just a health issues instead of being too specific about that and giving them sigma.
