Vince Olanda 912845780 2E Review I thoroughly enjoyed all the efforts put into the cinematics portion of the video. The short clips of the time lapse throughout the video was truly beautiful. However, I personally believe that including so many time lapses within the video can actually be detrimental towards the video quality as a whole. There is an unspoken connection between the watcher and the video in which the watcher can interact more effectively and be more critical about it if the interview has a face to go along with it. The interviews were certainly useful, without doubt, but placing time lapse video over the interview over the faces of the interviewees can leave some room for detachment and possibly a lapse in interest for the watcher. Disregarding the small mistakes that can be improved upon, like I said before I'm very impressed with the several visuals that you included inside your video. Including all these several places of UC Davis in the video can really help the watcher become immersed in the environment, no matter where they happen to be watching it from. I definitely advocate for these time lapses; I by no means am saying to take them away. Instead, maybe sprinkle more interviews with the interviewee's face to go along with the words, so any given watcher can establish a connection with both the interviewee and the concept at hand, in turn causing them to be more concerned and possibly entice them to take action.
