Priscilla Lee Group 3E Pre-Screening Review

I like your topic. It is perceived that Asian Americans are not active or have no interest in social or political movements. I think your objective in creating awareness around the idea that Asian Americans are not as involved in social or political movements were clear. Some strengths presented in your video were the abundance of facts. It showed that you knew your topic and its history. Also the pictures along with the voice over were nice. For the narrative, it is nice and clean cut with a clear voice, an understandable voice. An area that can be improved is to have other voices speaking their thoughts on the issue. I think including an interview on other’s views would add a lot and will truly capture the audience. Another person’s opinion and views will show and prove the attention that this topic needs. Also while the pictures are nice and represent what you are talking about, I would like to see some movement or video showing this cause. Is there anything like this happening on the UC Davis campus? Have you been involved in any movements or protests? I would also like to hear about your own opinion and how you feel about it.
