According to “Hmong Does Not Mean Free: The Miseducation of and by Hmong Americans”, author, Kaozong N. Mouavangsou, told about the Hmong American educational experiences through cultural and structure explanations. Almost everyone knows that education is important, is basic for you to get a good job and a good life. She mentioned how U.S. education impacts Hmong American education in a negative way. The U.S. education system emphasizes to students the history only under one perspective, so information is not sufficient. For example, from the US perspective, the Hmong people were military allies to the US in the Vietnam war. However, form other perspectives, there are different voices for the same case. So, some information we got may only under one perspective and miss some information. Under this situation, the source from the U.S. education system is the miseducation of Hmong.

Education is one most method to learn knowledge and get information. However, there are many other ways to observe information, such as reading books and studying abroad. we should step out to see the world.
