From the reading "Empire of Death and the plague of civic violence" written by Darrell, Y  Hamamoto, stated about the varies expression behavior towards murderer and killing across the cultures. In the early ages, the origin of the serial killer was the increasing complexity in society and has an alienation to others. Personally, I think it could connect with the relationship between bourgeoisie and proletariat, in which there was an exploitative social relationship during the early industrial ages. The way how capitalist exploited the workers has resulted in the alienation from the other people and products. As a result, the response of the workers was causing crimes and creates threats to the upper class. In contrast, the response from the ruling class was to establish a new institution, which was the army or also known as the military. This can relate with the idea in the " A few good men", where militarization was dominant in the country. For instance, after the incidents of September 11, 2001, the military strikes have emerged against the terrorist. From the reading, it was interesting to know about the marriage material, in which whites want to have yellow flesh and turns out to be a cause of suicides and accidents of his families. I had a friend`s parent who had an exactly similar case, where his mother has passes away due to his father`s cheat and divorce, which creates a negative reputation towards the father.
