Week 2_Kangping Chen_A01

Different races have different attributes they might have different habits and culture. However, I believe these difference should not be the reasons for discriminations. After have read the reading materials for this week I could get more familiar with the situation about the current situation of Asian Americans. As I mention in my last post of week 1, after I have read the first week reading materials, I realized the problem of hate, discrimination and stereotype is much more severe than we thing.

On week 2 reading material, I have known that the discriminate issue is not only severe, but also very prevailing in different fields. In some Asian families, the parent would use some special approach or methods for educate their children. The reason behind the phenomenons is that of course they value the education, however, Asian people are have unfair opportunities to gaining higher education, some people think they only to easier way to get higher level education is to training more. This is very worth to be worry about. The approach is certainly not healthy. And I believe this situation  should be end or should not be used by people.

My question is that is there possible solution for parents to balance letting children to get better education and let them growing healthy?
