Reflection of Coronavirus
In fact, nobody predicts that the beginning of 2020 is so hard. Coronavirus influences many countries and people in the world. For example, for preventing the spread of Coronavirus, the government and people sacrifice a lot. People need to stay at home, and students are required to have online classes. Coronavirus not only hurts our health but also impact society's order and people's life. In my opinion, Coronavirus is nature's warning. In the beginning, some people don't care about this virus and they even despise this virus. They are willing to go to parties, which have more opportunity to be infected instead of staying at home. Today, Coronavirus spreads the whole world. All the human are trying their best to against Coronavirus. Like reading mentions: "we must fight because we are at a crucial crossroad. With massive budgetary cuts at universities nationwide and tends toward corporatization, underrepresented groups again find themselves increasingly targets of bullying, harassment, and dismissal." I am touched a lot by this sentence. I admire the author's decision to face bias and trouble. Today, the whole world cooperate together to solve big trouble: Coronavirus. We must fight and protect ourselves. After the outbreak of Coronavirus, I realize that the whole world is the one, and our destinies connect with each other closely. If we want to solve this big trouble, we need to cooperate and help each other.
For this class, I hope to learn more about Asian American culture, and I hope to reduce the stereotype of Asians. After class, I am willing to show other the charm of our different culture.
