Until 8 p.m. Et on April 2, the total number of confirmed cases in the United States had reached 244,000, with 5,914 deaths. I also heard the news that President Donald Trump has tested negative for the novel coronavirus a second time, he announced on April 2. 2020 is a hard year for everyone all around the world because of Coronavirus.
Meanwhile, I saw many touching events happened during the outbreak. Countless medical staff and volunteers stepped forward to shoulder the responsibility at this critical moment. They will be afraid and hesitate as well. However, their responsibility supports them to go forward.
A volunteer working at the virus test station was asked in an interview that whether he was afraid of his job. I was impressed by the volunteer's response. He said that, “Of course I am! Everyone was afraid of the virus. When I decided to do volunteer work, my family asked me whether I was sure about this. I said yes because it has to be done. People like me can help a lot of other families.” Fear is a part of human nature. These volunteers convert their fear into positive attitudes to help people in the world, which is beneficial to the society and the country. Their courage worth our admiration and respect.
I was moved by a photograph that was posted by a young mother in Arkansas. The doctor outside is her husband who returns home during a short break. He was afraid of spread the virus to his family, so he cannot give son a hug. The only thing he could do is look at his one-year-old son through the glass. These moving moments showed what they have done for every people in the world.
There were so many moving moments happened during recently, which show us the brightness and sincerity of the human nature and give us confidence and hope.
