Week 1 - Zhenglun Fu

Zhenglun Fu
Section A02
Week 1

For a long time, the view of "male superiority and inferiority" and "right of husband first" occupy the thought of people, especially in the Asian countries. Women always in a weak position, not because of our teaching, scholarship, or service, but because of the biased presumptions associated with our gender, sex, sexual orientation, color, race, national origin, ethnic group identification, citizenship status, accent, age, disability, religion, marital status, motherhood, and personhood.
Most women would like letting things pass without saying anything or meeting violence with violence when they face to domestic violence. After reading the article “Fight the Tower: A Call to Action for Women of Color in Academia”, we understand the foundation of academic enterprises, and how to fight for our rights. It is from such a point of view, is to fight for a few women together to develop a declaration, is to stimulate a change of hope.

Question: How can we do if women's right conflict with rootedness religion?
