Week 3 - Zhenglun Fu

Week 3
Zhenglun Fu
Section A02

After I reading “Hmong Does not Mean Free: The Miseducation of Hmong Americans”, I just found
the Hmong and other Southeast Asian immigrants including Cambodians, Laotians and Vietnamese have lower college-going rates than Chinese, Japanese, and Korean Americans. And long-term budgeting makes it difficult for institutions of higher education to support new support programs.

The Hmong Chinese’s level of discontent is also lower than Han Chinses and their main criticisms are the lack of economic development, poor access to health services and low-quality education. The Hmong are still among the poorest and the least educated minorities in China.

Question:
Are there any miseducation in other Asian countries?
