The struggle of Chau Hyunh is one that many asian americans and minorities can relate to. She came from a background of a communism and was in many ways sheltered. As an artist she began expressing herself and her role in the United States. It can be especially hard to put ones self out to the public when you are from a sheltered environment where one does not have as much freedom. She faced a lot of hate based on her views and where she came from. Its a familiar story minorities can all relate to at some point in their lives. It is important to view her experiences as a chance to reflect on the environment we live in and see some of the social issues that exist on the internet.
