In the article “A tale of two campuses: Berkeley and Davis respond to Occupy Movement ”, author compared two different responds from occupy movement in UC Davis and UC Berkeley. Maekow referred that although Davis and Berkeley are both under the UC system, their attitude to Occupy student are totally different. In UC Davis, the public announcement ignore the students’ major protest and rights, concerned about the cleaning and repairing cost. While the respond from Berkeley concerned about the students’ request and did the the relevant action to respond to that occupy movement such like reduce college fees to middle-class families. As far as I am concerned, these totally different responds from two campus shows their attitudes to students from two campus. UC Davis may just consider the occupy student movement as a student venting action and do not concern more about it. While UC Berkeley treat it as an important things and gives more attention. Therefore, the respond from two campus have a huge difference.
Question: Should all of the UC system campuses concern more about the Occupy student Movement?
