Response to "API Census 2010"

The API Census of 2010 at UC Davis showed us that the White/Caucasian ethnicity dominates over any other ethnicity by at least 6,500 people if not more. It's interesting to compare the ratios of Asian-Americans to White/Caucasians since they are the two major ethnic groups at UC Davis. When analyzing just Asian-Americans, Chinese-Americans stands out by having a grand total of 4,714 people as compared to other Asian-American ethnic groups that only have roughly 1,500 people or less.

Stepping back and looking at the big picture of the entire world as a whole, we see that in 2013, the world demographics had China as the most populous country with India coming in second and the United States being third. In this list of the top ten most populous countries, there is not a single European country listed. When comparing the demographics of the United States to that of the entire world, we can see that although the United States is considered the "melting pot" of the world, it still hosts a majority of white/Caucasians as compared to other ethnic groups.

Question: Will Asian-Americans ever be the largest ethnic group in the United States?
