Week 5 - Nuong Vo - A04

I'm not very well informed when it comes to war, so I do not understand why the military armies are killing innocent lives in these villages. Why do they allow the bombing of innocent villages? Hearing all this feel so unreal that human nature can breed such cruel actions onto innocent people. I feel sick and helpless for these victims who had to undergo such cruel torture. It's obvious that war has resulted in some of these men committing such horrendous acts because that's what they learned in war. Many of the mass murders the article brings up are racially driven.
I believe mass murders were easily done back in the day because their equipment and knowledge were not as advanced as today. DNA analysis has greatly improved over the years to the point where new technology can solve cold cases that couldn't have been solved back in the day. Serial killers often carry very similar traits and goals such as the desire for power over other human beings. Ted Bundy was an incredibly charismatic guy that knew how to easily manipulate people. What going on in Bundy's head, I'm not sure if we would ever be able to fully understand.
